Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. is pleased to announce that we have begun supplying our high performance DUNLOP "GRANDTREK AT30" and "GRANDTREK AT30 TOURING" tires to Toyota Motor Corporation for use as factory standard tires on their new "Land Cruiser" model. ". which goes on sale in the Middle East markets.

The new Land Cruiser maintains perfect off-road performance and reliability and meets regulatory requirements for the environment.

The new Land Cruiser will be equipped with our high-performance “GRANDTREK AT30” and “GRANDTREK AT30 TOURING” DUNLOPs. “GRANDTREK AT30” tires offer superior performance in fuel economy and off-road performance, thanks to their new tread pattern design, tread compound and improved internal construction. The tires have been designed to provide excellent off-road traction on off-road surfaces such as uneven roads, sand and desert. A new tread compound allows for longer tread life with shallow tread depth, so it can reduce tire weight and minimize rolling resistance. The improved interior construction can reduce the overall weight over the tire for fuel efficiency with durability that is significant along with the vehicle concept. These key technical features are designed specifically for the latest Land Cruiser. “GRANDTREK AT30 TOURING” tires are tuned from AT30 for better on-road performance with the benefit of AT30. It does not compromise on road performance and offers a comfortable ride on the roads.
