The SP Sport 5000M tire features an ultra-high-performance all-season rubber compound molded into a symmetrical tread pattern. This design has a continuous central segment with independent intermediate segments on both sides and blocks or blocks on the shoulders, which combine traction, wear and low rolling resistance, allowing its use in a wide range of driving conditions. Small angled grooves located in the contact area provide more grippy edges that improve traction on slush and snow.
The internal construction of the SP Sport 5000M features twin steel belts reinforced with Dunlop's "JointLess Band" (JLB) technology. This technology uses spiral-wrapped nylon, intended to provide tire integrity when used at high speeds, as well as reducing weight and offering a smoother ride.
