PIRELLI® P ZERO™ PZ5: The New Benchmark in Ultra High Performance (UUHP)
The P Zero™ PZ5 represents the latest evolution in Pirelli's legendary ultra-high-performance tire line, designed to meet the demands of the most advanced sports cars, luxury sedans, and high-end SUVs on the market. This tire has been developed through the direct transfer of racing motorsport technology, offering a driving experience that balances extreme precision with refined comfort.
Tread and Compound Engineering
The PZ5's design is distinguished by an optimized asymmetrical tread pattern that maximizes the contact area with the asphalt. The use of latest-generation polymers in its silica compound ensures superior grip on both dry and wet surfaces. The internal structure has been reinforced to maintain tire integrity under intense lateral forces, allowing for impeccable directional stability even at track speeds.
Wet Performance
Equipped with deep longitudinal grooves, the P Zero™ PZ5 efficiently evacuates water, significantly reducing the risk of aquaplaning. This design not only enhances safety in emergency wet braking but also increases driver confidence during rapid transitions in adverse weather conditions.
Driving Dynamics and Efficiency
Pirelli has placed special emphasis on reducing rolling resistance in this model, which translates into greater fuel efficiency and a longer tread life compared to its predecessors. Additionally, the block sequence in the tread has been acoustically tuned to minimize rolling noise, raising the standard for cabin acoustic comfort without compromising sporty response.
